Facebook is one of the best social networking tools for online communities. I’ve never thought before to use this tool cause I have both e-mail and MSN for offline and online communication. E-mail and MSN seems to provide enough capacities that fit all my needs. However, after frequently using FB for about a month during I stayed in Lyon, France, I felt that FB is not just a social networking tool based on my understandings. It is more than I expected and I want to share my real experiences about the FB to everyone:
A number of people tried to invite and add me on their lists but I will accept only those who use the original names and pictures. Many of them are still on my waiting list, however, plenty of friends in my FB also increase from a single digit number to almost a 3-digit number. At least 3 alumnis on my FB are good examples that I want to share experiences with you today. The 1st Yonok alumni student is “Chun Chunpradab“. She has been working at Public Relations office, Songklanakarin University – Pattani campus for many years. Will you believe me? She live at Songkla province and drive to work more than 120 kilometers everyday. Fortunately, it’s a super highway street so that she’d never affected by the Southern disturbance events. I invite her to come to Yonok for her holiday vacation next time. The 2nd alumni student is “Chonthira Gurney“. Her husband is an American engineer. Chonthira is now having a lovely daughter “Alina” and she also learn at the cooking school. Currently, she is a cook at a famous restuarant. She is Chiang Mai native person and fly back every year. Therefore, I invite Chonthira and her family to to join a meal together with my family when she come back to Chiang Mai next time. The 3rd person is “Wanlaya” or Boom. Her nickname is exactly the same as mine. She has married with a French person and living in a new house ner chateau de Versaille in Paris. Unfortunately, I cannot accept her invitation to stay at her house and have lunch with her husband this Saturday cause it is too close to my returning trip and I have an appointment with my professor Friday evening. However, I promise her to come hear again next year and her invitation will not be dismissed. I am very happy while I’m writing this today memo. I am very proud of all Yonok alumnis because they are more than we expect. Love all of you, our Yonok alumnis.
